I’m in…Something

From our joyful take on Greek Mythology, Off to Olympus,

this is truly one of the most wonderful duets you will ever perform. The setting: Diana is the goddess of the forest, but she has never seen an actual man before. Icarus is an inventor who has never really thought of a girl in that way. However, with a little help from cupid, the two meet and are overwhelmed by a certain emotion that they can’t quite explain.

Hotel Girl/Iowa Eyes

From the award-winning musical Bringers, this lovely tune is based on a wonderful Carl Sandburg poem, Hotel Girl. Although there is backing vocals, this is a lovely song for two people to perform.

Proposal Rehearsal

From the award-winning Main-Travelled Roads, this is such a lovely duet. The context: Ed (the Creamery Man) is nervous about proposing to his favorite girl. Nina (the Dutch Girl) suggests they should practice together. Spoiler alert, Nina thinks the ‘favorite girl’ is actually her, but she is soon to find out differently.

Note: This recording has an abrupt ending because that’s how it is in the show, but just let us know if you want to perform it and we’ll give you a version with a proper and satisfying ending.

Jabbering

From the award-winning Bringers, inspired by the poetry of Carl Sandburg, jabbering is a terrific argument duet that leaves a lot of room for the singers to act it up.

Note: We do not have a full male/female demo of this one, but it is pretty clear who is who in this. The man sings first, then the woman, then together.
